I am a recovering addict with a little over 90 days of sobriety after 25 plus years of abusing drugs and alcohol and submitting my body and my life to the darkness of this world. I was standing on the edge of giving up on October 15, 2016, when I heard God tell me, “No! Not yet!” I felt Him pull me back, and it seemed like light was shining on me.

I was standing on the edge of giving up on October 15, 2016, when I heard God tell me, “No! Not yet!” I felt Him pull me back, and it seemed like light was shining on me.

I moved here from Baytown the next day to sober up and begin my recovery process. In the process of these last three months, blessings have been pouring down on me like rain and I have completely submitted my life and my will over to God.

I thank my Lord Jesus Christ daily for giving me this second chance at life and will devote my life to Him. My biggest wish in life now is to please Him and make sure He knows at every moment of every day that I am completely thankful to Him for all He has given me, including everything in my past because it allows me to help other people.

I want to be baptized today and completely give myself to God once and for all!
